wii fit-how often

hello, I am on a 1400 calorie diet and hoping to lose 1-2 pounds per week. I lost 14 pounds and gained 2 pounds back. i have bee eating so good, huge turn around. i have been doing various home exercises and wii just dance ect. i just got a wii fit plus and it says to do every day on the wii. but i made up a routine of mixed yoga and strength exercises (like lunges, jack knife ect). its about a 40-50 minute workout. also i never get calories burned if i weight lift or do sit ups? why? how often should i do the wii. i over did it yesterday (did it once in the morning and at night plus 45 minutes of dancing) today i am really sore. im not loosing any weight this week and not sure why. any suggestions on how often i should do this. i really don't want to every day, but if its the only way to lose weight then i will.
