Treadmill workout?

Does anyone know of what a good treadmill workout is?

    i think it depends on what you are going for - speed, endurance etc. sometimes i do a quicker speed on a flat level other times a slower speed but up the incline- so i guess it depends on what you want out of the workout - i tend to change it up but i get bored easily.

    I like to do intervals on the treadmill so I don't get bored. So I will do a mintue and a half at say 6.0mph then sprint at 7.3mph for one minute and repeat however many times you're comfortable! I burn almost 100 calories more than if I were just jogging! Love it!

    I'm following a training program (10K faster) which schedules how far/fast I should run. This makes me not have to think or do what I feel like, it makes me look at my schedule, and do what I'm supposed to. I push myself way harder! Depending on your level, you could do a c25k, or any other training schedule. Just an idea.

    When I had a trainer a few years back he wrote down this treadmill workout for me. When I get home I will type it in here. I can't stand just running for any amount of time so this was a good one and burned quite a bit of calories. you walk at a decent pace the whole time, but you also have weights and do different arm lifting with it. Also theres a part where you do hops sideways and another part where you walk backwards. very good workout.

    Intervals with varying incline settings and speeds are great too.
