Everytime I watch a good fitness movie, I always want to train! Most fitness movies are documentaries, what are you favorites? Here are mine (in no order):

Pumping Iron - The original bodybuilding documentary, staring Arnold!
Strong: The Movie - Documentary on Joe Defranco's gym...you think you work hard, watch these guys train!
Bigger, Faster, Stronger - Documentary on America's obsession to be bigger/faster/stronger, focused on PEDs.

OH. Silence of the Lambs always makes me want to go running but that's not at all what you meant.

Here at Globo Gym, we understand that "Ugliness" and "Fatness" are genetic disorders, much like baldness or necrophilia, and it's only your fault if you don't hate yourself enough to do something about it.

I don't think movies need to be documentaries to be inspirational. I think that Flashdance and Cutting Edge are two oldies, but goodies. I also like TV shows with strong female leads like Alias, Xena, and Dark Angel make me want to work out so I can be as kick *kitten* as they are!

I have last year's Ironman World Championships on DVR and I watch it while on the treadmill or trainer. Does that count? If you're into lifting there really is nothing better than Pumping Iron or Bigger, Faster, Stronger though
