I have been on MFP for a little over a month now and have lost 5 pounds so far. I am just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced the same problem that I am having. Since I have stopped eating as much fast food and junk food, I am finding that I sweat all the time. I don't mean just a small amount of sweating that would be normal while exercising, more like having hot flashes all the time. I am on hormone replacement therapy because I had a hysterectomy several years ago and my doctor says that my hormone levels are all normal. Can anyone out there help me out because I am too embarassed to go to the gym anymore because I sweat and stink really really bad. Thanks in advance for any help.

I had a hysterectomy and am not on HRT due to health concerns. I found my hot flashes increased and it was explained to me that estrogen is stored in fat ( what we are getting rid of) The body is prceessing it and it is going to cause an increase in hot flashes.

I think I will deal with them in order to get rid of the fat

I sweat a lot too. I guess between the hot flashes and exercise your body is really hot. Some foods and medications can cause you to have an odor. Also material you wear while you exercise can cause/hold on to some of the odor. Try wearing cotton.

Maybe you should try a Rx deoderant to help with the stink. Ask your dr. I bet someone else on here will have a better idea than me, though. HTH!
