I got a Polar FT60 HRM in December and today it said "recovery week still needed." I usually average 5-6 workout days a week (workouts are usually around 45min). Do I need to take a whole week off, OR just a few days? I keep losing and gaining the same 1-2 lbs---for like the last month:grumble: . So, I am debating on taking the whole week off from exercise and see if I can jumpstart my weight loss again when I start exercising again---my HRM is telling me to take a recovery week anyways...
Thoughts?
Also, do I need to adjust my HRM to a recovery week---or will it automatically know since I will be missing a few days? How many days do you take off when your HRM says this?
