Hello People - Any Pointers?

Well Hello there,

Nice to meet you all I'm new to this community thing so i though i would let you know a little about me :)

Towards the end of 2011 i was feeling very down about my body, at my heaviest i was 214Lbs and had a nice big wobbly gut and moobs haha. After seeing in 2012 i was determined this was going to be MY year, so, i decided to start exercising and get myself back into shape so i can fit into my clothes again. i have already lost 26lbs and feeling good but im so desperate to get the last of it off now. any pointers on what else i can do other than running would be very much appreciated :)

I have entered the Cambridge half marathon and hope to complete it in a fairly good time :) (under 2:30)
