this is NOT a fetish post, lol.

my friend and I would send each other pics of our post-workout sweaty shirts as a (deranged, I'm sure) way of motivation and encouragement, and thought WTH, could make for a cool topic/thread here.

I find it very encouraging when my workout is over, i'm DRENCHED and can't find a dry spot on my shirt. Though, it's annoying getting back in the car if I forget to bring a change of clothes, I love this!

I will post mine later, as I am at work, but for those who can, POST UP

Weird. It isn't like the amount someone sweats means they worked out harder than someone that doesn't sweat. Some sweat walking up a flight of stairs. Others can run a 5 minute mile and not break a sweat.

yes, I know. it's not a competition, or anything of course, just a little motivator.

some people can also lose 10 pounds in a month, while others take 3 months. it's all relative.

I'd be interested in seeing how people rate the workouts that generated the shirt. I've never thought to photograph my post-workout shirts, though... I wonder if there's any interesting data there. :-)

idk, I just think it's fun to see if people feel they've pushed themselves :)

I dont know if it is because my shirt is not your basic cotton T-shirt and more a workout material. Or if my sports bra soaks most of it up (gross I know) but my black workout shirt doesnt get soaked. Although my hair is a differnet story. When I am done killing it at the gym my bangs are dripping sweat as well as the hair that has let loose from my ponytail. Its a constant annoying drip that I try to keep up with with my towel.

Ha.. The last thing I want to do when I get done at the gym is whoop out my camera phone and take a picture of me, whooped from a good grueling workout.

But I understand his reasoning. I know in the gym if I'm workin my butt off and I see someone working hard and they sweating more than me I want to pump it up another notch.

As gross as this sounds, I wear the same ball cap for a month and then wash it and change to another. But on that first wear I look for my sweat ring and every time I work out I try to beat it. It got so bad one time that the entire ball cap would be soaked, then I got mad because I didn't know my ending point.

This is why I could never do roids.. I'd be afraid I'd get upset about my ballcap sweat ring, go crazy, destroy the gym, and eat a small child on the way out and dare anyone to look at me crosseyed.

Surpisingly I do good with my blood sugar. When I played football I had issues sometimes with it, but I was eating 4 hamburgers, 3 packs of fries, and a coke for lunch and then whatever mama cooked at night. My diet wasn't exactly a model of an athlete.

No pictures, but yesterday I hung my shirt on the doorknob when I got home (my family hates it when I put the wet shirts in the hamper) and when I went back a few minutes later there was puddle on the floor.
