Eating a snack at bed time

It seems that at around 10:30- 11:00 PM when I'm in bed watching tv, I have the urge to eat something, whether it be crackers, granola bar etc.... I know this is not helping my diet but if I don't eat something I can't sleep. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

maybe drink something intead - water or herbal hot tea. or brush your teeth - food generally doesn't taste very good right after doing that. on the other hand, if you have calories left to eat there ins't anything wrong with eating at that time of night. is it that you are going over your daily intake?0

It's okay to have a snack in the evening or at bedtime. Just reserve some of your calories for it; plan ahead. I usually eat something too. I cannot sleep if my stomach is growling.0

If you save some calories for it, have at it. I have a bowl of oatmeal or cereal every night before bed.
