Suggestions for Magnesium Citrate intake

Hi all,

Sorry to get personal on ya, but I've started taking magnesium citrate in dissolving form (at the suggestion of my personal trainer) and I noticed almost immediately that it er, affected my bowels. I read online that it can be used a laxative, which is something I don't need lol. So, I was just wondering if anyone else had similar issues and if taking in the magnesium in a different form (i.e. capsules) worked better or if I should just take the absolute minimum dosage only once a week?

    I used to take about 400 mg of magnesium citrate a day for capsules. 300-500 mg is a good range. I don't know anything about the dissolving form though.
