Just wondered if any of you MFPs have ever participated in the Nijmegen Marches in Holland (4 day 100 mile march/walk - 25miles/day) or are planning to do so? Either in civilian or military capacity?!

I've done it twice, be cool to find MFPs to share experiences from training and the event itself as would love to do it again in the next 2 years! :)

    Did Nijmegen in 1980 and 1981 great time loved every step

    Hubs attended Nijmegan in late 90s/early 00s (will have to check with him for exact year) as part of a military team and always said it was the most wonderful experience. The teams rotate here so he's never had another opportunity to go back but I know he'd sign up in a heartbeat if his current Sqn had an opportunity to return.
