Hi everyone ! I have lost a total of 18 pounds with mfp. I love it !!! I have reached my goal for weight loss and was starting to get a little bored. Since we spend alot of time at boat races and the beach, I decided to set another goal of being cut and toned. I have been talking to several people on here, that have the bodies to back it up, but are telling me you have got to get away from the scale at this point. I have to read my body and eat the calories and nutrients it needs, so thats means maybe gaining some, but for the right reasons. Well, i started this last week...same eating habits, but working out with kettle bells and other programs in between. Any advice on this ? Are they right...do I weigh only once a month ? Right now my calories are set at 1200...45 grams protein...40 grams of fat..thats what the program set me at when I first started. Im 5'7 and weigh 125 started out at 142.
