This is why I never congratulate my friends on coming in under their calorie goal! That goal is there for a reason and if you don't reach it you're not sticking to your programme! I made my diary completion private for this reason, I don't want people telling me how awesome it is that I didn't eat enough.
You can keep your diary open but make it so that it does not post as a status update when you complete it. Because my doc said not to eat my exercise calories yet, mine always says under, so I just made it stop posting to my status. If people want to see it they can, but it won't post daily.

The best analogy I've heard is that your body is like a campfire. Too little fuel and it won't even smoulder. Too much and it's overpowered and smothered. Gotta put just enough wood in yer fire. I struggle with eating enough, too. I want to eat, but then I start thinking about food and the decision making process sends me into a panic. I keep oatmeal, fruit, and yogurt in the house at all times so i have a default snack that I know won't throw my progress off track. If you want to add me as a friend feel free, we can keep an eye on each other!0
