If you divide what you have lost by your starting weight and multiply it by 100, that will give you the percentage that you have lost from your starting weight:
So 3pounds lost / 104 pounds starting x 100 = 2.88% (ish)0 -
It comes out to 1.01%0

The other way to do it, is to divide your starting weight by 100 which is 1.04 and then divide the weight you've lost by this number...so 3/1.04 = 2.88% of your starting weight.
It depends how you find it easier to compute, but remember it is a percentage of the weight you started at.0 -
Let's see if I can do math
Start weight: 205
Current loss: 46
Current weight: 159
46/205= 0.2243902
So it appears I've lost roughly 22% of my beginning body weight? Well yes, that would make sense. 20% of 200lbs is 40lbs.
YAY ME! (Boo math! haha)0 -
Starting weight 264.4
Current weight 261.4 (lost 3 lbs)
1.01% loss
264.4 minus 1.01% comes to 261.7 (so .3 off)0
