So yesterday I Discovered that i was not eating nearly as much calories as i should be for the work out i do. ( 6 days of 80 minute cardio , 3 nights of zone progression strength training ) Which was sending my body into starvation mode i believe thus defeating the purpose it seemed . Thanks to some wonderful advice given by other i did some research figured out my BMR and adjusted my calorie intake accordingly , But i was also told i should eat back my exercise calorie taken off by MFP .

The Problem is is that i can eat my actual calories but am not thinking that i can eat my exercise calories without gorging or over stuffing with extra fats and carbs ( the bad Kind ) . so what should i do ? just eat my calories and forget about what it is taken off for exercise ? or try to had some small portion high calorie / fat items into it ? right now my diet consist of a lot of lean low calorie fat meats and vegetables plus low calorie fat snack items like fruits and cottage cheese or yogurt or vegetables with fat free dip.

Any suggestions appreciated

If you are working out that much you deserve a little treat. Get something high in nutrition, high in calories.. like nuts, or peanut butter or avocado or full fat chocolate milk (great recovery drink).
