If you eat iron rich veggies with food high in vitamin C it helps the body absorb more of the iron. The iron in spinach can be hard for the body to absorb, but if you pair it with red peppers or lemon or something high in vitamin C, then it helps absorb the iron.
Beans and whole grains can be good sources of iron. Meat can also be a good source of iron.0 -
