    I just bought my first size 6 jeans yesterday. I was so excited. I still have 5 pounds to go until my goal weight, so I can't wait to do more shopping. I am afraid that once I hit my goal and those size 6 clothes fit perfectly, that I may not be able to stop myself from continuing to lose more weight. For the longest time I was the "fat" friend...it would be nice to be known as the skinny one for once.

    5'5 here too! Yes!! I have felt like the "middle child" looking through the height posts, always 5'4 and under or 5'7 and over!! We have feelings too! LOL :)

    5'6 on a good day, 5'5 3/4 quarters on a normal day. And yes I claim those three quarters every single day.I blame my family as the only person shorter than me is my 4 year old nephew.

    Also 5.5 3/4! That 3/4 counts...everyone in my family is taller than me now except the dog and cat :wink:

    i think it's a good height. i wanted to be taller when i was younger, but i've discovered that 5'5 is one of those heights where if you carry yourself well and have good posture people will think you're taller.

    Although, I was measured at 5'4.9 one day.
