Hi all,

I'm wanting to buy some new runners but need some help. I am currently wearing Adidas Supernova and on occasion Salomon Trail Runners (when outside).

I mainly run on a treadmill or do Jillian Michaels DVDs.

I need runners with stability (as my ankles roll out), Ive heard that Peal Izumi runners are good. Does anyone have a pair?

Was interested to hear what everyone else wears and what they think.

Thanks all

Well, if you have a running store in your area, you should go and get fitted and try on different shoes.

I need high stability and high cushioning. Last year I as running in Asics 2150s (which are now 2170s) and I LOVED them and they have excellent ratings. This year when I replaced them, I tried on the Saucony Hurricane 14 and I loved it so I'm running in that. It has similar stability and cushioning, but more cushioning in the forefoot, which I'm finding is a huge help with my shin splints. One of my trainers recommended Saucony's so when I went to my running store, I just asked to to try them on and I tried on a few other Saucony's and Asics as well. :) Brooks also make very highly rated stability shoes, I have a few friends who run in them and love them.
