snack vs. treat

I was reading a magazine (self maybe ?) and it was talking about snacks vs. treats. It said that when one plans a snack, it should have some nutritional value, whereas a treat is just that - something you enjoy, but don't have daily.
Just a little something to think about when planning your food each day.

I've noticed that I try really hard to make sure my snacks have some nutritional value. I rarely snack on things like 100 cal packs, light cookies/cakes, etc b/c there's not too much nutritionally valuable with those.0
