This is why I don't do too many cheat meals...

It was an unplanned cheat b/c I was starving...Chicago style pizza, garlic roll, fried appetizers. I FEEL LIKE CRAP NOW PHYSICALLY. I told DH I think I'd feel better if I just purged this. Instead, I'm going to drink more water & possibly even get in another workout tonight.
Anyone else feel physically gross when they eat grease now?

We ate our way through the Spring Fair last Saturday (scone, Krusty Pup, french fries, and teriyaki chicken bowl), and my body finally expelled the last of the grease yesterday morning (sorry for the TMI). Until then, it felt like I had a brick in my intestines.
Amazingly enough, I still lost, and in fact had my biggest loss in a single week since starting this journey. Our bodies are amazing things, but I do plan on treating mine more kindly in the weeks to come.0 -
Oh yes....my body protests if I eat anything too greasy or rich. It's good because after I've had anything like that, I feel so horrible that I don't want it for a LONG time, if ever!!
And gulping down a ton of water does make you feel better!! :happy:0 -
today I had KFC and to me it tasted funny and yet yummy and I was hungry so I kept eating. but I don't think I ate too much, but I know it was the wrong kind of food.
yea, I'd say to drink more water and do better tommarrow. it will be ok0 -
I did this yesterday. had insomnia the night before and it reminded me of when I used to work @ 330 in the am with little kids at home. Made up for it today.......:ohwell:0

I did it with Wendy's hamburger and fries last weekend and felt horrible for 2 days. I also felt like purging it, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I don't even want to think about going down that road. Drank lots and lots of water and then worked it off.0

We have leftovers, but I will be eating a nice, healthy salad when hubby and the kids eat that. Downing water right now!0

Good for you with the water!!! :drinker:
Cheers and here's to flushing out the fat!!! :drinker: :drinker:0 -
Grr! I was thinking of possibly having KFC for dinner instead of pizza & crap, and I just read that they have grilled chicken now that I could have had. That would've made me feel healthier!0
-
no, I had Mcdonalds last night...:embarassed: and that grilled chicken looks good! I get sick eating the fried chicken, theres no way I can eat all the skin0

Ugh....I always feel crappy after I eat certain things on cheat meals. I kinda like it cuz then I don't crave it anymore.0

Ugh! Seems to be the way we all start this thread! I haven't done this for a while, because of how sick it made me. And, anything after that is TMI! :sick:0

I have felt this way for a long time...
It's not so much that we are losing and bad caloric foods cause indigestion, its more that we were never built to eat that much oil, and so we feel awful with it. It's like alcohol, we build a tolerance -- try the same experiment with hard liquor -- dont drink it for 6 months and then do 6 shots... You definitely will get similar stomach symptoms (and a little drunk :drinker: )0 -
Definitely makes me want to gravitate towards healthier food 99% of the time.0
