So I love Greek Yoghurt for lunch it keeps me full and I can put frozen fruit on the bottom and it stays cold till lunch....except I can't find one that I like...I had one the first tiem I tried it and I can't remember the brand it was thick and sour almost like sour cream but no milk fat content...does anyone know a brand that has those properties?? I know it's not Astro (BLEH) or President's Choice which is like water (UGH) I hate buying al ltherse brands and having too force myself to finish them cuz I paid $5 for it haha...

For snacks, I use Stonyfield OIKOS (not to be confused with dannon oikos).

It's organic and a portion of sales goes to farmers.

I like Fage too - the 2% fat kind. 0% can be kinda icky. Add a drizzle of honey and some almonds and YUM.

Fage is good, if you have Trader Joe's by you, go there. It's THE BEST. They have non fat and full fat versions, so look a the label.

plain chobani greek yogurt and if you go to their website you can print a coupon
  • I love Oikos. The reason that I like it is because I think it does taste like sour cream. I love the Key Lime, but it does have 4.5 grams of fat. The other flavors though, don't have any fat grams. :)

Fage. Chobani as a second choice; it's a bit cheaper here.

Fage is good, but I buy Chobani for every day eating. I buy Kroger brand to cook with because it melts away.

if you get plain greek yogurt it tastes like sour cream (which is why you can use it in place of sour cream) BUT you can sweeten it if you get plain with splenda, stevia, or whatever you like.....

I LOVE Dannon Oikos. Chobani is good too - as is taste of inspirations.
  • Chobani and Oikos....still haven't tried Fage myself.

I am a huge fan of both Fage and Chobani. If you have Hannaford's near you, their store brand is pretty good, and 15 cents cheaper than the cheapest Chobani I can find (which is $1/small container). Fewer flavor options, though.

I love the Wegmans Storebrand Greek Yoghurt- they have a bunch of flavors but my personal favorite is the one with Honey. Really great!

I don't like most greek yogurt because it is thick and bitter. However, Chobani fuit-on-the-bottom is good. The fruit-on-the-bottom makes it sweeter and a little thinner. It is a bit higher in cals and sugar though. Plain is always a better way to go. Or you can take plain greek yogurt and add half a packet of splenda with you frozen yogurt, that helps.
Adding a teaspoon of cinamon is good also, plus cinamon supposedly has a lot of health benefits (such as preventing the body from absorbing fat)

"Kirkland Greek Yogurt" is sour, fat free, and plain. You can then add your own additives. You can get it from Costco only.

I buy the non-fat plain chobani at BJ's. It's the best I've had.
