SBF2 Reboot Boogaloo...April 25

Up before dawn - that's is so wrong. I don't like to get up until the sun has had his cup of coffee.

I'm teaching the three yoga classes this morning. Might go for a walk this afternoon with husband. Yesterday, I didn't make it to the gym or a video - my headache didn't go away enough for that type of exercise. Had fun at the fashion show. We got "press" seats, so we were right next to the catwalk. We also got a swag bag - nothing I'm interested in - it smelled like plastic: freshly printed advertisement - but it was nice all the same.

I'm bringing dessert to a dinner party tonight, so I'm bringing chocolate covered strawberries (along with some not covered strawberries). It's about as low-cal of a dessert as you can get - never made them before though - yikes.

Next week, serious cardio is back.

Coffee boogaloo!

    I'm up early, too. . .

I'm thinking of trying a morning gym yoga class today, since I'm actually awake in time for it. Although not quite as early as you, Mary. . .and I agree getting up before dawn is unnatural in the extreme.

Then, I intend to run (OK, walk) a few errands and do some light housecleaning. I ordered these new foot insole thing-ees that seem to be helping the foot pain more than my $300 orthotics (which I think I had worn out) so I can walk a little easier (with less pain) now. Hooray!

    Namaste boogaloo!

    Take care.:flowerforyou:

I have always thought that people should never have to get up before the sun does.

Mary, glad you had fun at the fashion show! And three yoga classes this morning? Wow. You go!

V, I'm glad you found something to help you with your foot pain! Both of you have fun at your classes this morning!

I think I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that the Turbo Jam is indeed causing my back pain. I guess I am doing it wrong. I did it for 20 minutes yesterday and my back hurts worse. It doesn't help either sitting or standing but I am going to try to go for a walk in a little bit anyway.
Well, I have lost two pounds, though I'm not sure it's official. I've been at the same weight for about a month now so to see it moving in the right direction is good. I am still eating quite a bit and probably too much at times, but I wonder if it's going down because I have laid off the sweets, dairy, wheat and other things. I have also been allowing myself to get hungry and I think that has helped. Plus I just feel better physically (sickness wise) so I am wanting to exercise more. Just need to get the back in order.
Today is a walk, need to clean up the house, work with Alex, and goof off. Tomorrow is our anniversary. I'm not sure what we are going to do. It will be hard not to involve food as I love eating out but we don't have money anyway. We may go to the gardens and walk around.
    Have a good Saturday!

Good Morning! Definitely well past dawn here ;)

MM walking around the gardens sounds like a lovely anniversary. Maybe you could do a picnic..?

I slacked off yesterday with just a lame workout at the gym. I did manage to get up and do a vigorous walk for 45 minutes though, which helped stop an impending binge. Didn't do much healthy eating yesterday.

Today my goal is to get in 45 minutes of cardio with intervals. I need to break out of my comfort zone. I'm going to do 20 minutes of 8-second bursts with 12-second recovery. I'd also like to get to yoga either tonight or tomorrow.

My other goal is to eat before I go to my sister's so that I won't overindulge while I"m there.

    Happy Saturday!

Yoga today was all spinal twists of one sort or the other.

I'm pretty sure I can now look behind me like an owl.
