So, If you're 5'2" and walk a 13 minute mile, are you burning more than a 6'2" person walking a 13 minute mile (more steps to get the job done if you're a shorty).

The 6'2" likely has a higher mass than someone who is 5'2", so they would be burning more calories, simply by virtue of having more mass. Step size from height is negligent compared to mass.0
