Trouble putting in a recipe
I think I am stupid. I am trying to calculate a recipe and it is coming out way way too high. If you want to put in a recipe that serves 12 people and one of the ingredients is 1 cup whole wheat flour, how do you enter the serving and then the amount? I don't enter 12 servings then of 1 cup or that comes out to 12 cups. My math is terrible.

Input 12 in the box "Serves ___ people". Then input 1 c whole wheat flour under ingredients.0

Ok that came out to 5,0000 something. I entered 12 servings of 1 cup, that must be wrong.0

You enter the number 12 next to the name of the recipe only. Then add your whole wheat flour to the recipe - 1 serving/1 cup. Then add your next ingredient in the same way. If the recipe calls for 2 eggs, then you find the egg you want in MFP, and of course you'll want to put 2 servings, because it's calling for 2 eggs.
Hope that helps! And, if you are anything like your sister, you are not dumb. :flowerforyou:
