I'm intrigued by members who say they once hated and never did any exercise but now love it to bits.
I'm now exercising regularly (Zumba and swimming) but i'm aiming to up the exercise by at least 1 or 2 more sessions per week.
So - To the people who once hated exercise and now love it - tell me - What is it you're doing?
Thanks everyone!

I don't love exercise in general; if I could stay in shape and healthy without doing it, I would. But I've definitely experienced "hate" transitioning to "love" with regard to certain things. I used to hate single-leg deadlifts and Turkish get-ups. Once I mastered them, they became my favorite lifts in my kettlebell workouts.0

Anything with company..... I always found exercise a chore, now I'm making it into social events so instead of lunch or coffee with my best friend we go swimming & use vibration plates or go to an aerobics class, and now I'm working on my man & tonight he and I took a 30min stroll instead of chilling on the sofa, I enjoy exercise the most when I don't realise m doing it as I'm having fun!0

Running and Spinning!!! AMAZING cardio workouts... I burn WAY more calories doing those 2 things than any other class, exercise so far. And the high when it's over is unbelievable!0

I was NEVER an exerciser. Hated the gym, hated running, hated it all. I was a dancer for many years (tap, jazz, musical theater) so I didn't have to hit the gym. Plus I was young. When I was 18 and 19 I was taking tap 3 times a week, jazz twice a week, and performing in musicals (which require a lot of dancing) all the time, so although the dance classes were exercise, I didn't feel like I was working out.
Then, I got really busy with school and had to drop some of my dance classes. Then I got busy with school and work, and had to drop all of my dance classes. Then I got pregnant, and stopped performing. And since I had never paid attention to diet and exercise...well here we are 5 years later.
But when my dad passed away in 2010 I randomly started running. My mom has been a runner her whole life and said that it might make me feel better, so I tried it. I pretty much hated it at the beginning, mostly because it was hard and I couldn't go very far or fast, but now almost a year and a half later, it's my #1 hobby!! I love to run now, and it really did help me out when my dad passed away as sort of a release. Now any time I've got stress or something is bothering me, a run seriously does the trick!0
