probably a dumb question...

How can I get my body fat accurately tested? I don't have a gym membership or health insurance. I've heard those scales that give body fat percentage readings are notoriously inaccurate. Can I go to a a gym or something and pay for a session with a trainer and have them do it? Do I go see a dietician? Anyone know of any relatively cheap ways to get my body fat percentage accurately tested? Just seeing what my options are, as I'm just very curious what mine is. Thanks in advance.

Yes! You CAN probably find a nutritionist in your area who could give you a one time session to get a body fat analysis, and then you could take advantage of it and get an evaluation of your meal and work out plan too!
Even in most larger gyms, the trainers offer 1 time sessions and I've even been to gyms where you can meet with a trainer in the "7 day free pass" promotions they always have.
Look up nutritionists. If you have a crossfit gym in your area, they might be able to point you in the right direction of an independent trainer or nutritionist too.0 -

Bottom line, there is no low-cost way to accurately measure body fat. Accurate tests are expensive.0
