....does it make you less likely to look lean and athletic? Just concerned as my aim is to lower bodyfat and look leaner. I have recently eaten more primal/paleo and feel amazing but will lowering my carbs and increasing my fat levels detriment my fat liss? I know its calories in calories out but i an sure macros must have some impact!

For the record I now eat lots of nuts and fish and eggs (all of course restricted according to my calorie intake), not fats like chips or crisps!

good fats will should replace the bad fats in your diet, so it shouldnt hinder too much as we need fat for hormone production insulation and so on..... they will however help promote good health. as the good fat so un saturated fats can be broken down easily by the body unlike saturated fats, so they in theory should be used up efficiently ... hope this helps a little bit!

To the best of my knowledge it should make no difference at all.
