Has anyone had a day where they dont think that they cant even come close to finishing their daily calories? I still have 777, but i know I'll have a night time snack. but i will still be 200-300 short from making my daily cals.

its not a requirement to eat all the calories. If you aren't hungry, don't eat them. Doesn't happen often but there are times where I'll be 300 short. Just means I lose half a pound faster.

If I have alot left over, especially due to exercise, I make it up with protien, like a spoon of peanut butter, protien bar or shake. I have learned the hard way its best to stay as close to your cals as possible without going over, one or two hundred is not bad, but I would'nt do it every day.

Incorrect. Technically the calorie goal is the minimum you should be eating.

Most days I tend to be like 300 to 400 away from my goal. I've had a few hiccups where I have gone over by about 100. I try not to worry about my calorie intake as I know I won't go over it for the amount I eat. I worry more about my sugar intake, I like sweet tasting foods.

I try and get out and do a jog or go on a bike ride. Bike rides tend to last an hour, depending on which way I am going. Due to my knee problem, I usually go jogging for 15 minutes, it starts hurting even at half way. I make up for my lack of jogging with my cleaning job 5 times a week.

I think it would be unwise to eat less than the recommended 1200 by a few hundred every day, that would mean you are eating potentially less than 1000calories every day. You might think that by under eating by this much, you will lose weight quicker, but it's not very healthy or sustainable in my experience.

I would suggest you find healthy snacks to help build up your calorie intake to what MFP recommends, which will help your body function properly and hopefully prevent you from plateauing soon due to not eating enough. Also, this will help you transition to a long term plan as well. :)

Hope you find something yummy and healthy to help you reach your goals! Good luck :)
