Did 4 hours of exercise yesterday - the kicker is, when I converted it to steps, it's about my normal day.:noway: - that was 3 hours of yoga, 10 min of cybex, and a 50 min walk.

Today - bike ride to the store and yoga tonight.

Last night at the dinner party, friends made curry with homemade cheese. The hosts, were at least 6 inches taller than me, she was pregnant, he was male (naturally), I ate as much as either of them (I also ate more than my husband) - and they talked about being full. I tried to eat slowly and mindfully (as much as you can with other people) - I didn't feel full, just satisfied. I know that's how much I should eat; however, why can I eat so much?

Someday, I hope to know what this "feeling full" is like

    Sunday sleepy boogaloo

We're going to the gardens today and may have dinner or something later.

Hey everyone. Y'all may not read this but I'll post anyway.
We had a good day. The gardens were really pretty and I got in some great exercise. My feet hurt! We got some good pictures (maybe I'll share a couple) and it was nice to be out just the two of us.
Unfortunately when we got home we got some bad news. Alex had a face plant in some pavement, and his mouth is messed up. It's really gross and bloody, but it could be so much worse! He has a busted bottom lip, cut upper gums, and both front teeth were bashed in (one is turned in a little and the other is a little loose). I don't like to look in his mouth but it's kind of like trying not to look at a dead animal on the road, you know? He has eaten a little applesauce and drank a little juice. He took a short nap earlier and woke up okay (obviously). He said he's okay. I feel kind of messed up about it though and the babysitter felt really bad. I have to admit that I am thankful I was not here when it happened. I would have been totally freaking out at the blood and I would have been so upset. So God spared me in that. Also it really could have been worse. He has a red scratch on his upper lip but that's it. God really was good and I am so thankful for His grace and protection. I think I am more of a mess than Alex. If you would just pray that the bleeding will stop soon and that the gums around the loose tooth will heal up, so he won't lose it. Thanks. I hope I sleep tonight. I hope he sleeps too.
    Talk to you all tomorrow.

Aww, poor Alex!! I hope he heals up soon. :flowerforyou:  :flowerforyou:

I had a pretty nice weekend. I am feeling a little burned out, though. With all the strength training I am doing, plus my new style of doing pushups, I just feel like I am sore all the time. So I don't feel like doing much sometimes. It it also getting to be pollen season, so that may be wearing me out, too. I tend to eat more when I am tired - some part of my physiology seems to think that carbs will fix it. :noway: Unfortunately, my brain isn't always awake enough to resist.

I did go running this morning and ran 3.5 miles. I'm not sure what my time was for the whole distance, because I walked a lap before I started running, but I think it was around 36-37 minutes (and I ran 6.4mph for the second mile!). Now it's time to go do my pushups! :ohwell:

    Almost bedtime boogaloo!
