I like to workout in long sleeves. Mostly a tank top under a thermal long sleeve shirt is what I wear. I like the sweat. I must be nuts! Its so freaking hot in the gym somtimes and that stairmaster makes you drip! I guess the sweatier the better, i think.

  • I workout in sweats now and then when I really want to FEEL it, you know? Even though it might just be in my head, the sweat dripping everywhere makes me think I'm kicking some major *kitten*. :)

I workout in sweats (long sleeves and pants) practically all the time.

Not me... unless its' really chilly outside, but I usually take my long layer off once I'm warmed up. I find sweaty clothing annoying, I'd rather the sweat just drips off me!

:noway: That would make me crazy! :noway: I would just be like "OMG, too hot to work out!" Hee hee.
  • I shed as much as possible. I can't stand to have my hair touching my face or neck also. The women on most of the exercise videos have long hair and it is not pulled back. I always wonder how they could do that. IT would drive me batty!

I like long or 3/4 length sleeves that are tight enough to stop the major flopping around of these bat wings!!

I can't! I don't even like having to wear long sleeves when I play softball in the cooler months. I normally wear a short sleeve shirt or a tank.

I wear long pants at the dojo mostly in winter, but wicking ones that dry quickly. I can't stand compression tops or sleeves holding the wet against me. Especially because I get to drive home with swampy clothes.

    Blech.

Moisture wicking tee's for me! The sweat dripping everywhere is just obnoxious to me. :grumble: LOL
  • I love wearing lots of layers. I usually wear a tank top a long sleeve (thermal usually) and a sweatshirt with sweatpants. I know it's crazy but also I work out in my garage so the first 30 mins are freezing. I love the feeling of being drenched in sweat makes me feel like I did a great job.
  • I do sometimes, but not very often. I feel too constricted with long sleeves on, I usually wear a racer-back tank top. I did wear long-sleeves to Zumba last week, but didn't sweat anymore than usual. Just got stuffy and annoyed.

When I started in the gym after so many years absent. I would wear long sweat pants & a sweat shirt.

When ever I saw myself in the mirror it felt like I was looking at the Pilsbury Dough Boy! And, I sweat all the time!

(My joke when people ask me how I lost the weight is to say the I "Rendered" it off!)

Now, shorts & t-shirt or sleeveless T shirt (for range of motion).

That being said, did a lot of workouts in sweats this past winter. To deal with the cold weather!
  • We all have our own styles I guess. Just remember to wipe those machines after you sweat all over them...thanks!

Ditto. I wear as little clothing as I can get away with, I can't stand the sweaty fabric against my skin! The only time I actually wear full length running tights or a jacket of some sort is if I'm running outside and it's really cold. Which, considering I live in central Texas, pretty much never happens.

I workout in a longsleeve underarmor shirt, t-shirt, and hoodie. People might think I'm nuts, but I don't care! I always wipe down the machines and benches before and after I use them.

I am the same except I wear "poor mans undersarmor" from Target or Wal Mart. Some times I wear wrist Sweat Bands to limit the drippage on the Elliptical!!!

I don't need to wear long sleeves and long pants to sweat like crazy at the gym. I work out hard and have to wear moisture wicking clothing just to be able survive without melting away. Even in the dead of winter I can't wear anything long sleeved or with long pants.
