Are we supposed to eat our exercise calories?

There are days that I may only burn 200-300 calories while other days I may burn more than 500. I was confused if the tracker wanted me to eat the extra calories or not. On the low calorie burn days I think my goal weight, which is in the 1700 range, is enough but I think on higher calorie deficit days I should eat a little more. Thanks.

Yes. MFP is designed so you lose your goal amount of weight with or without exercise. In order to do that you need to meet your caloric deficit. To meet it you must eat all of the calories, including ones burned otherwise your deficit may be too large.
When you signed up MFP ignored your exercise goals when giving you your caloric intake, so if you workout the amount they gave you is not enough to fuel your workouts.0 -
