Something for the Type II Diabetics

I have been on MFP for 4 to 5 months (strict for the last 3) and have lost a total of 40 lbs now, I do not work out, however I am very active at work and on my feet all day.
It is great to be able and tell people I am OFF my MEDS, that's right OFF. No more diabetes or high blood pressure meds. I had another lab done and the doctor said I was clear. I had stopped taking my meds, because after dinner, I would take them before bed, get the shakes, only to find out my sugars were going below 60. Now, I'm off the meds, I test every morning and night and stay between 74 and 94.
If your are diabetic check with your doctor before stopping meds, and give this a try. I would highly recommend drinking 8 glasses or more if possible, of water a day. I can not stress enough how important that is to achieving a healthier life.
Good luck and come on, enjoy a drug free life like me!
ps. we do splurge every 2 weeks to eat a little bad but then right back on it and I keep losing!!!
