2 Months...and I've gained...HELP!

Hi MFP! I've come humbly asking for help...I started my journey 3 years ago this summer. I managed to drop about 75lbs. over a year and a half through exercise and a fairly low carb diet (not NO carb, but low-I didn't eat any sort of 'white' foods). I fell off the wagon hard last July when my hubby and I bought our first house and between then and December put 30lbs. back on. I've been going strong since January this year following MFPs guidelines and exercising fairly consistently. I've lost nothing in two months and actually gained 3lbs. this month. I've changed up my workouts and do a mix of cardio and weights (circuit training and pyramid training). I try and keep my sodium in check and started to really up my protein here lately as it helps with my hunger. I also eat a lot of fiber and have no tummy issues. :blushing: My food diary is open to all...I'd appreciate any thoughts anyone can give me as I'm stumped at this point. :flowerforyou:

I am NO expert, but I did take a peak at your food diary. I would try watching your sugar intake. My mother used to work for weightloss forever and she told me that sugar can be pretty sneaky and it does turn into fat. I notice its really hard to stay under my sugar intake, but I do try and watch it. How often you are excersing and what you do everyday would help to know to. Your bmr is a lot higher then mine is. You may want to ask someone who has to eat around the same amount of calories that you do. You can add me as a friend. I am more then willing to do my best to support you through your journey!!0

I agree with my2boiz's post~ I don't see anything too awful in your diary other than that and that really isn't that bad. Going by your picture I can see a difference in the 2 photos... your stomach seems a bit "tighter" in the 15 day pic. So what you are doing looks like it is firming you and you may be building muscle in place of that "fat". Have you taken any measurements? Good luck!0

Thanks ladies!! I've seen some physical differences...but silly me seems to not be able to take measurements properly so I can't really tell. I have full photos from day 1 and 15 in my blog and I'll be taking day 30's today.
@my2boiz - I watched sugar like a hawk when I followed low carb...and I'm starting to wonder if that's what I need to go back to. It's impossible to eat a serving of fruit and say a protein bar and stay under my sugar for the day!! I'm sending you an add right now!0 -

You're awesome lady :flowerforyou: You know I want lots of feedback!! Hoping others will come and weigh in so I can have a few things to try...so for now, less water and sugar....0 -
Hi.
I'm no expert and don't claim to be but I had a wee look at your diary too. I am new to MFP and from what I understand you should be eating your NET calories. Ie, calories plus exercise. I know some people here say you shouldn't but it states it pretty clearly in the instruction and help pages. Like I said, I hope I don't sound all know it all as I really haven't had a run at it myself.
In the last 7 days of your diary you have 3923 calories unused. That is, you were under for those seven days by that amount. It may be your body is slowing the metabolism as almost 4000 calories per week down is over a pound worth.
I would keep doing the training, weights etc but I would make sure I try and give the body fuel to keep the calorie burning fire going.0 -

I swear, I really do eat as much as I can shove in and not feel ill!!!! I didn't realize I had quite that many calories uneaten...that's at least 2 days worth! Hm...0
