Inspire me! Running/fitness motivational book
I've got an Amazon basket ready to check out. Before I do so, I'd like to lob in some inspirational reading about running or fitness to keep me motivated. Can any of you please recommend anything that goes beyond the straight how-to genre? :flowerforyou:

Here's a link to a forum with a similar topic. I personally have not read any of these, but I just might have to!!

The name of the book escapes me...but it's by Martin Dugard. I just had it from the library...it was really good0

I loved "The Perfect Mile" by Neal Bascomb. If that doesn't convince you that you have plenty of time to train, nothing will.0

Born to Run...definitely!0

Great ideas here, thanks! I'm definitely considering Born To Run, as it sounds like a combination of a good story with running tips that translate to real life.0

Chris McCormack's book was good. "I'm Here to Win"0

Try "Marathon Journey, An Achilles Story" It is a nice, short inspiring story where the characters run the New York City Marathon. Happy Running. Greg0
