Omega 3

Just started taking about 5 grams of Omega 3 over the course of the day, along with some Omega 6 and Omega 9. For the past week I have just felt so good! Not hungry, calm, my skin looks better and I am retaining a lot less water than I have been. I've also started taking all the multivitamins that I should, so maybe it's not just the Omega 3 three, but wow. There really is something to be said for making sure your body is getting the nutrients it needs!
Any vitamins or supplements you've added that you are happy with?

    I take a tablet that has Omega 3,6,9 all in one. I haven't noticed a different maybe I need to take a bigger dosage.

    How are you taking it? What types of pills, I mean?

    Right now, I take a mega-handful of supplements: Centrum A-Z, Omega 3 (since 6 and 9 are actually readily available through normal food vs. Omega 3), green tea capsules, joint caplets (age!!), B-complex and have just added L-Carnitine.

    Until I caught this blasted cold, the above sups worked for me. Now I'm exhausted but I'm putting it down to being sick and not quite over it.

    I recently purchased an omega three with fish oil. I used to try and take the capsules but when I burped it smelt like fish (I am not a huge fan). The stuff I got was in a liquid form (lemon) I take 2 tbs daily (mixed with a drink) and its awesome this stuff is so good my 5 yrs old likes it. I also bought a bag of flax seeds and add them to my food. They realy dont have a taste and I feel so much fuller. Its also been a good sneaky way of getting the rest of my family to eat something healthy :laugh: :wink: I also take an over the counter prenatal 2-3 times a week. My energy has increased and I am not having the hunger pains I had before. I just feel good. They also have the omega 3 fish oil in a strawberry.
