I hear you, but unfortunately if you have that job be ready for long hours and no breaks to eat lunch ect..........I have a friend who is a facialist who works from 9-7....8.....sometimes even 10 or 11 at night! No breaks, sometimes comes in early because clients tend to ***** about hours she's open, sometimes comes in on her days off (sunday and Monday).....ect.
Personally, I feel as though she needs to tell those few percentage of clients to step down from their complaints.......that she needs to put up a sign and tell her customers that she works 9-whatever time she feels is right (Id say five)........to give herself those two days off..........and then let them know when she breaks for lunch.
Those people who don't like it, can go elsewhere because she has SO many clients to keep her afloat if a few drop off the face of the earth.
But that is only one person's opinions0 -
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! :laugh:0

Whoosh!0

its hard to tell your clients ANYTHING
and when you work that way all you have is your loyal clients
and the reason she probably goes in on days off is because her clients want it that day and she needs the money
you can say no but if you can make more money why not do it
you go in to work whenever you have a client coming
the reason theres no breaks is because you as a stylist schedualed yourself too close together
and everything usually takes longer than you expected0 -

True........never really thought of it that way to be honest..........of course I thought about the money issue.........but the other things, like telling your clients stuff like that......Thanks........:flowerforyou:0 -

Well if you're just starting out, perhaps you can intern as a fluffer.0

I think it was funnier reading the reply's from those that let this one fly right over.0

Is there a line because there's only one facial specialist?0

I'm sure there is more than one, but most who think they're specialists are only amateurs. Finding a (ahem) good facial specialist is a hard job.0 -
It's good money, and I'm glad some people love doing them ( I love getting them!) but I don't think I could handle a job where I had to touch strangers all day long. ick.0
