My first attempt to make protein "muffins" was an actual success! They were so good. I would like to share the recipe for anyone who would be interested in making these.
I used:
- 1 scoop of Isopure Whey Protein - Dutch Chocolate flavor
- 1/2 tsp of flaxseed Meal (I used Bobs Red Mill)
- 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp of raw almond butter
- 1/4 cup of whole grain oats
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1 small packet of stevia in the raw
I mixed all the ingredients together in a bowl, make sure to stir really well. Then I covered the bowl with plastic wrap, and put it in the fridge overnight. This morning I took out the bowl. and microwaved it for 1 minute and the texture was just like a muffin! It was delicious. This can make one big protein muffin, or you can seperate it into 3 small muffin like container / pans which would be fewer calories as well!
