What if tomorrow, today didn't exist?
OK, this is a topic being talked about on the radio right now.... The basic premise is that you have 24 hours to do ANYTHING in the world that you want to, and then, when you wake up, it is just as if it never happened... no consequences at all, but you do get to keep the memory. Oh, and it must be within your monetary means.
WWYD if yesterday was real, but today it only exists as a memory?

That's a funny question. My first thought is 'same thing I do every other day. Why would it be different just because there were no consequences?' But I thought about it some more and I guess it would at least be TEMPTING to tell this one girl I'm into her. ^^;0

OK, so here were a few responses:
1. Go beat up the bully who used to beat you up.
2. Eat favorite foods with no remorse
3. Go try to hook up with as many of the opposite sex as you can0 -
This is a tough one....really made me think. I really don't have any desire to do anything bad, like breaking the law....I would spend the whole 24hrs with my husband hiking or walking along a river, then have a fire and drink wine. I know sounds boring, but my husband is my world0

Just curious.. have you ever played the game 'Grand Theft Auto'....?0

I'd definitely ditch work. (You said no consequences, right? So I can't get fired for this, right?)0

My answer is: I'd probably sleep the whole day, because I'd rather not think of nice things that could have been, but never will.0 -
I think I'm getting it. If today would not exist in anyone's memory but mine, and there were no consequences at all, I would start my day with a bowl of Fruit Loops ... and by bowl, I mean mixing bowl. I would bathe (I don't want to remember being smelly). I would walk through the town naked, just to see the reactions. I might be promiscuous, but I wouldn't want to take time away from driving the local fire truck through town with horns, sirens, and lights blazing. There are a few people I might shoot, as long as I knew they would be fine tomorrow. I'm relatively certain that, as the day draws to a close, I would already be looking forward to tomorrow. I can only handle so much excitement in one day.
Edit: I almost forgot. I'd fly through the St. Louis arch.0 -
If I rob several banks, do I get to keep the money, or only the memory of the experience?
If I have sex with several women, if they have a disease, will I contract the disease, or not?
Before I can answer your question, I need to fully understand how it will work. I'm not saying I would do these things, I just want to know how it works, i.e., if I can bring anything with me or leave anything behind.
Like, if I beat up a bully, the next day, will he still be in the hospital, or will it be like it never happened?0 -
This sounds a lot like that classic book "1984" by George Orwell, about how the past only exists in human memories and is, therefore, not real and totally adjustable. :P Confusing!0

Instead of killing small animals as usual, I would probably move on to humans. Although I was planning on doing that next year anyway. hmmm tough one.
Maybe I would break into the houses of the few a**holes I know and try and find their juicy secrets to remember. Also their social security numbers and Passport info.
I'd probably just have an orgy though.0
