I don't have much weight to lose, just enough where I am comfortable in my current pants size again. Every Monday, I come to work feeling bloated, full, and UNCOMFORTABLE. By Wednedsay, I finally start feeling better after eating my small, healthy meals and hitting the gym a couple times. So, I need to decide for myself, WHEN AM I GOING TO STEP IT UP AND START TRACKING MY CALORIES ON THE WEEKEND?!?! I don't do it now mostly because I know I will be going WAYY over. I do get a good workout in on Saturday, but still, I set myself back every weekend. I look pregnant today. :grumble:

My advice -- do it anyway. Log your weekend calories to the best of your ability even if you do go over. This process is about being honest with yourself, and you can't change habits and behaviors unless you can identify what they are. If you start tracking those weekend binges maybe you'll see something right away that you could easily cut out, or maybe it will motivate you to get in some additional workouts on the weekends . . . I purposely got up this past Saturday and gave myself a cardio butt-kicking because I knew I was going to be indulging Saturday afternoon/evening.

Accountability has to be step one! Good luck!

I find that if I log it keeps me making better choices.

Only you can answer that question. You're obviously unhappy with how you look & feel today. On Saturday morning, pull this post up & remind yourself that your weekend HAS to be better otherwise you'll be having the same conversation with yourself next Monday. It's a vicious cycle & you're the only one that can break it!

I have the same problem. I hate stepping on the scale on mondays but I do agree with tracking your calories on the weekends even if you go over. I have been trying to be good on saturdays but sundays usually kill me. It's time to do something about it!

Next weekend, I WILL do better!! I need to get my healthy snacks and meals at home, like I eat at work. My fiance can make what he wants, and I will eat my healthy, low cal foods. :explode:

Now, what do I do today? I put in everything I plan to eat today and have 388 calories left, not including my exercise calories. Normally, I would make a point to eat my 1200, but today I feel like I would be okay to leave 388 calories on the table AND get a good workout in.
