The best wine I've every tried was called Chocolate Lab. Dark chocolate red wine. Yum!
I've heard port goes pretty good with cheeses. Personally I'm a merlot kinda girl.

Under $20... Robert Mondavi's Private Selection Pinot Grigio (the Chardonnay is good as well), for cheaper wine - it's DE-LISH!

That was going to be my suggestion. One of the best red wines I have ever had for the price.

I'm a Zinfendel (sp?) girl. The best white wine I've ever had is called Gazela and it's from Portugal.

Seven Deadly Zins is a good one for under $20.

I usually buy all my wine from wineries (for around $40 a bottle) so I'm not sure what's out there but an excellent way to get GOOD wine for under $20 is to hit up BevMo's 5 cent sale when they have it. Its buy one, get the second for 5 cents. So if you buy 2 of a wine that is normally $30/bottle...you're getting 2 (at roughly $15/bottle now) genius!

Anything by Oyster Bay, and if you live anywhere even remotely close to the Finger Lakes Wine Region, I HIGHLY recommend Billsboro Winery, Fox Run, and Anthony Road (in that order).

Tripache Malbec. Awesomely good red wine for about $8.00. There are lots of Malbecs available from $7-$12 per bottle. All i've tried are pretty good!

For Chardonnay, Rombauer or Frank Family. Those are over $20 but I can usually get them for around $20 when the grocery store has them buy 2, get one free or something like that.
