My stupid vent

Okay, I just need to vent...and yes, this is a very, very, stupid vent. You have been warned. :)

I work in the publishing industry, which is highly dominated by women. Our building is currently being renovated. The bathrooms are being shut down, one floor at a time. It's our turn. So for the next 6 weeks we have to use the bathrooms on another floor. That's right, I'm giving up my bathroom for Lent. lol Now for the vent.

Because of the way our building is laid out, over 40 women normally share one bathroom with four stalls. now those 40 are splitting up to go upstairs or downstairs to share with another 40. We have one woman, I have no idea who, that keeps leaving her Preparation H wrappers in the freakin' toilet. You CANNOT do THAT!

I know it's inconvenient in our old bathroom-there's no trash can in the stall. So you had to walk the smeggin' wrapper the five steps to the trash can at the other end of the bathroom to toss it out. But come ON! 39 other women need to use that bathroom and you just made one of the stalls unusable! No one can flush a freakin' wrapper down the toilet!

Now, we are walking UP THE STAIRS to get to the bathroom. Presumably the same person is still doing this. Now there's no excuse. In the nice new plushy bathrooms just finished upstairs there IS a trash receipticle right there in the STALL. WTH? Why is it so hard for this person to throw away the wrapper? Why must she drop her freakin' Prep H wrapper IN THE TOILET?!? Now she's making the stall unusable for 59 other women! How lazy is this?

Okay, stupid rant over.

    I've seen far worse.... it's just a lovely perk to shared bathrooms. I've often been driven to run from floor to floor in my building looking for a suitabe place to go. It's icky but it gets me moving!

    OMG. LMAOOOOO. Leave a note on the stall doors. DO NOT FLUSH YOUR PREP H WRAPPERS.... see if she can read. LOL

    I should hope she can read considering she's either a writer or an editor being on our floor! the scary thing is, the person leaving when I went in was the VP of our Division!

    I am also in the publishing business, but we are a small, family owned company. There are a total of 20 employees, 3/4 of them are female.

    We've just moved to a new office. Our other one had two stalls in the ladies' room, never a mess. We have a clean group. Now in the new office, we have to share with not only our floor, but the floor above us has a call center and those women apparently hate their own bathroom on their floor. So we have floaters, sanitary products, peed all over seats, unflushed toilets and people in there all the time talking on their cell phones while they drop a deuce. Seriously and totally gross!
