kind of a big deal for me..

I'm really new to MFP but I have been trying to lose weight since 2006. I had success using Dr. Phil's Ultimate Weight Solutions and dropped 70+ pounds between '06 - '07. Then I got pg. After the birth of my daughter I went through some very emotional times and my food obsession and binge eating (hiding and eating, etc). was out of control. I ballooned up to my highest ever weight of 301 pounds. After a particularly bad episode of hiding in my car in a parking lot, eating an entire pie and then standing in the bathroom contemplating purging, I decided I needed help beyond what I could find in a book.
I went through a year of cognitive behavior therapy, psychology and group work and it's been right at a year now since I've binged. I cannot tell you how huge this is for me. I've lose almost 30 pounds since that 301 and starting therapy (and kept it off for the year) but that's so small compared to the mental things I've accomplished.
So yay for no more binging! I just thought I would share in case any of you were going through similar issues. You can make a change!
