I'm terrible at breakfast time! I always go to the donut shop and get something bad. So I've decided to start making smoothies! Does anyone have a good recipe?

Try the green monster smoothie, its a great way to get your leafy greens. It looks weird but taste so good. Even my 4 and 1 year old boys love them.

I had this great idea of the weekend to cut up my strawberries for the week, weigh them out (along with blueberries), and divide them in to 4 groups. I put them in Tupperware and stored them in the freezer. BIG mistake! When they thawed, they were all soft and less appealing. So, I decided to put them in a blender, add 1 scoop of chocolate flavored protein powder, a cup of water and some ice cubes. It was sooooo good!

    I had:
    220 g of strawberries
    90 g of blueberries.

I'm making another one tonight! :)
  • I buy fresh baby spinach and put that in my bullet with 1 cup of water then mix that up till the spinach is broken down, then i take out my yogurt that ive frozen and blend that all together, yumm.
Freezing your yogurt is waay better than getting some from the fridge because it make your drink slushie, ice cold and refreshing

I've been told that my smoothies taste similar to ones from booster juice or orange julius.

    one cup frozen strawberries
    half a banana
half a cup on plain non-fat greek yougurt (I use liberte 0% plain yougurt)
quarter cup of juice (any 100% juice will work)
and about a cup of water (depends on how thick I want my smoothie)
    Blend away.
