Hey, everyone, my name is Kat. :)

I was wondering if anyone here knew anything about these DVD's?? Like how long is the average workout, how fun are they (cause they LOOK pretty fun!), how were your results, would you reccomend them to someone?

Please let me know what you think! I need something to supplement my softball cardio training. I used to do Insanity religiously, but I want something more fun. And TurboFire looks like fun!

Thanks, everyone!

I bought the turbofire dvd's and they looked fun on tv. But I have a hard time catching on to the moves, it's really fast paced. It's not something I would recommend to someone just starting out or getting back into working out. But if your already in shape they might work for you. The lady that does the turbofire has other dvds I would recommend starting with those first before jumping into Turbofire.

Each dvd is a different length. The cardio dvds range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes and the HIIT workouts range from 15 to 30 minutes. I love them and think they are a lot of fun. I started them after doing Turbo Jam for a couple years, so that might have helped get the moves down faster but it is a quick program with very little instruction. But I caught on quickly. And the music is great too. I would recommend them!
  • Hi!

Turbo Fire is fun! The workouts are from 15min to 60 min if you get the advanced set. I started really committing to them in Sept. and I lost about 20 lbs along with some running. I would definitely recommend them, they burn a ton of calories and the music makes the time fly by. Chalene really motivates you to keep going and going. Good luck should you decide to get the DVD's :)

I recommend Turbo Jam if you are jst starting out, I love using them, planning to get Chalene Extreme at some point. TJ booty + Abs live is an awesome workout.

I would start with Jam! I DL Fire first and didn't think I could do it so I DL Jam and it seriously kicks my @ss and I'm in pretty good shape! =P
  • I started with TF from the beginning and had no difficulty with it, it takes a bit to get used to the moves but after doing each DVD once on the "new to class" option I had it down :)

Once you get the moves, Turbo Fire can be awesome. It IS frustrating at first and takes a bit of work, but they are an amazing workout. I never did Turbo Jam because I didn't like the feel or look of the workout environment. Type Turbo Fire into the search bar and you'll get so much information.

I bought Turbo Fire about 140 days ago (I just looked on the website). I didn't really get into them until recently and I am seeing changes after a couple of workouts. I am the most out of shape person, so I started with the modified workout. (there is a girl on the dvd showing you how to simplify the regular workouts). This past week I have seen an improvement of what I am able to do. I am pushing harder and doing more. I have the bonus DVDs as well that has a sculpting class and other things with a resistance band. If you aren't serious about losing the weight then I wouldn't suggest making the investment. But if you are really wanting something that will challenge you and take your fitness to the next level then I think this would be a good investment. I've lost 7 pounds in the last 2 weeks and I haven't even been doing the Turbo Fire every single day.

Also, I would check your local thrift store for Turbo Jam. My boyfriend's mom found a few of the DVDs there for about $7. I don't know how much those run new though.
