Hi I'm new here!

I was given a total calorie goal, put in my exercise of 45min kickboxing which burned 455 cal, then my goal for food went up that amt.....

I'm a little confused ... why should I eat back my exercise calories?? I understand your already eating less to lose weight, but eat another 450c of healthy food???

I'm 5'8, 155lb. I'd like to lose a few lbs and mainly tone afterwards. Should I have put my goal as .5lb weight loss per week or 1lb per week?

Its currently set to 1lb which gave me a cal goal of 1360. .5lb/wk would have given something like 1800cal.

Anyone's input is appreciated! thanks!!

I usually try to stay within the set amount of calories set for me prior to exercising (1460.)

To be honest, my calorie limit going up when I exercise just helps me to beat the guilt if I go over a few calories on the amount of food I eat, haha.
