Polar Battery Question

Ok. so I gave a friend of mine my Polar F4 when I upgraded to an F6.
It now needs a new battery.

She contacted them about sending it back to them to have it replaced, and she says they are saying she needs to send in the receipt and proof of purchase...

Well, I don't have the receipt and proof of purchase anymore, and I'm shocked to think you would need that information just to have the battery replaced...

have any of you had your batteries replaced in your Polar, and if so, did you need the reciept and proof of purchase??

Thanks!!

Seems like you'd only need receipt and proof of purchase if the warranty covered the replacement of the battery.

Have you called to double check that answer? Make sure they understand you want to pay for the service?

When I bought my Polar this weekend I got a warranty and kept the reciept just in case. Sorry. Check your warranty it may have the codes from your Polar.

    nevermind..

I called Polar and confirmed you do NOT need the receipt and proof of purchase... just a miscommunication..

    Thanks all!
