Do you feel skinnier the 2nd time around?

Just something I've noticed lately...

My whole life I was pretty small...very fit in highschool, then gained a little more than the freshman 15 in university, but I was still a pretty healthy weight. Whenever I got up around 150 lbs I felt disgusting and looked bloated in pictures. Then...I met my boyfriend. I gained over 20lbs and was sitting at around 168 (I'm 5'2 btw) most of the time for the last couple years. Since I've started seriously losing some weight, I've noticed that I feel "skinny" at higher weights than I used to. I'm currently about 154 lbs..and I don't feel disgusting, or bloated, or blimp like in any way like I used to at that same weight! I feel my ribs..I feel my hip bones...my face is slender. Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience? I've still got a ways to go before I'm happy with my shape completely (goal of 140)...I just find it interested that what felt like fat before, now feels pretty skinny! I'm not sure if it's all in my head since I got kinda used to being bigger, or if I'm just losing weight differently than I gained it....but whatever it is, I like it

I'm in the same boat! I'm no longer going to even attempt to see the 120's on the scale because I think it's overkill (I'm 5' 3.5"). I'm aiming for a strong 135.

My goal is 140...and I will be happy with that AND anything more that happens to come after...but yea, same as you, ultimate goal would be 130-135. I feel like I would be sickly at 120 now haha...I'm sure I wouldn't be, but why suffer when I can be happy at an easier to attain weight.
