Hi Everyone,

I have a few more questions that I'd love some input on. Thank you!

1) Macros. Mine are currently 40%carb/40% protein/20% fat. I'm consistently going over my fat % every day though. However, I don't know how I should adjust them? Should I take 5% from both carb and protein and give them to fat?Or should I take 10 from carb and give to fat? I realize this is something you have to play with, but I don't know where to even begin. ETA I calculate that I am to consume 130 g of protein per day, but I still don't know if I should have higher protein or higher carbs?

2) Eating before/after working out. Do I need to eat protein before or after a cardio or strength day? I've changed up my workouts. I've begun to do cardio and strength alternate days to try to make sure I'm taking advantage of the workout. Last night was the first time I did this, and I really felt a difference. I was so tired and jelly legged after getting off the treadmill and elliptical!

3) Sugar.Coffee...I'm allergic to a lot of the artificial sweeteners. I've tried most everything, but I can't use them. I got in the habit previously of using 1 tbsp sweetened milk for my coffee. I have tried to drink the coffee black, but I do not like this kind black (starbucks blonde). With my next batch I plan to get a flavored and try that black. So should I just accept the calories in the milk and deal with it?

4) Protein. I'm meeting my calories, but I am far off from protein. Last night was pure struggle from me. I ate a huge plate of food, but was so full. I still had so many g of protein left over. In this case would it be best for me to just get a protein supplement of some sort? Believe me, I tried last night to eat more food, but it was 12:30 when I finally went to bed. I know I should have ate those calories. I physically could not eat any more food.

5) forcing self to eat? The last two mornings I changed my breakfast which has left me fuller than ever. I eat at 8:30. It's not 4 pm and I am just getting hungry to eat lunch. I plan to head to gym around 8pm tonight and will eat dinner afterwards. In this case, would you just make your meal and eat if you are not hungry? How do I make myself hungry at lunch time so that I will eat? Do I need to change my breakfast? I can try to wake up earlier and eat then? I really need to change this, but I am at a loss how...

Thanks, and if you think there is something I need to read, recommend it. I tried to search and read back through the stickies but couldn't really find what suited me the most. :)
