Just Dance 2 versus Just Dance 3

HI all! I've heard from people that have Just Dance 3 that it's pretty good (in terms of song list) but am wondering if their are any other "upgrades" from Just Dance 2. For instance, is there a way to queue up a bunch of songs that you want to do and then it just does them all?

Or for anyone that has both of them, can you recommend if I should get Just Dance 3? I'm on a bit of a budget so am hesitating since I feel like I haven't used Just Dance 2 a ton yet. Uh I have the Wii if that matters.

As you know I don't have JD2 so I don't know how it compares but I can give you the gist of how JD3 works since noone else has responded yet! Mine is Wii also btw

There's no way to cue up songs (unless it's something I haven't unlocked up yet) in it I'm afraid, hadn't thought about that but it would be a really good feature!

Main Menu you get the option to Just Dance or Sweat, the latter then has the option of free play or 3 levels of weekly challenge. In the songs menu you can choose to play individual songs, or use one of the playlists (like 80s, Pop, Oldies, Non-stop shuffle, Speed shuffle etc), or the like bonus section which is stuff you unlock as you play, in there they have a few new songs or same songs but with different moves (like Sweat versions, or Holding Hands versions), Sweat mash-ups and Dance mash-ups (which is songs from the main song menu but using snippets of dance moves from several songs), and Medleys.

Does that vary much from JD2? I'm equally quite interested in how that one is cos wouldn't mind getting that one too when I've got the money (I'm on a budget too :grumble: ) for the extra variety of songs (not that there aren't plenty on JD3 mind!).

Cool, thanks for letting me know! I really want to download some of the songs that are available, but they are 300 points each, which I think equates to $3 a song? Which seems like it would be better to just buy the new one!

I'm not sure if Just Sweat is the same? You can tell it you want to do 1 song a day, 3 songs a day, or 7 songs day (or something like that?) as a goal? I'm not sure if there are playlists or not.

If either of us gets the other one we should definitely share our favorite songs!

I was interested about the shop bit, but Mr Loops turned off the wi-fi connection that our Wii uses so I'm not able to go online anymore with it to investigate!

Yeah that sounds similar, in JD3 you get "sweat points" for each song you do, equating to how much effort you've put in, and I think the goals are something like 500 points a day, 1000 points a day or 3500 points a day, and once you've picked your goal you can play any of the songs/playlists etc just the same as going via Dance.

I've just found a friend has JD 1 and 2 so I might suggest we swap at some point so I can see what 2 is like ;-) Mind I didn't check that she has the same console, that'll obv be a deal breaker!
