Too much dairy?

Hey guys! So, I don't really eat a whole lot of meat. One thing I learned as a vegetarian was that dairy is AWESOME. It never bothers my stomach, but I know there's a set limit of servings you're allowed to have a day. Also, when I was vegan, I lost weight really fast. So I guess my question is this:
How much dairy is too much?
Today, I had some 1% milk with my oatmeal. I had yogurt twice (TWICE!). I also had half a serving of light feta on my salad. I can't imagine I'd eat anymore. MAYBE if all my energy suddenly vanished, I'd get an 8 ounce skim latte or something. Do you think this is okay? It's almost all organic, if that makes any difference.

I eat a lot of dairy...and it seems that nothing I do can change it! I usually have a yogurt every day, and eat lots of cheese. I've been trying to cut back on it a little bit, just to force some variation into my diet. In my morning smoothies, I no longer use cow's milk-- I use almond or soy milk instead. And I try to not have dairy for both of my snacks at work (I always have a morning snack and afternoon snack), though I LOVE snacking on yogurt and string cheese.

There are people who say dairy is not a big deal, people who recommend cutting it out of your diet completely, and people like me who love dairy products so much that there's no point in trying to stop! You're on the right path by choosing organic dairy when possible, I personally believe it does make a difference.

Milk, yogurt, and cheese (though not so much ice cream haha) are a great source of protein, and very filling, and obviously delicious. As long as you're eating a balanced diet, you'll be alright. If you feel you are getting a lot of dairy, make sure you're not putting it in place of servings of veggies or fruits!

Too much = any amount that puts you over your calorie goal
