Carbs vs calories vs sodium

Options
I'm looking for a good source of carbs without stocking up on empty sugary calories or sodium. I'm having a hard time balancing these three things and have reached a 2 week plateau.

I have no problem getting protein or keeping fat down.

Potatoes (white/sweet - your preference), bananas/plantains, white rice
You don't need to eat brown rice, whole grains, oatmeal, and fruit to lose weight

And whole grains aren't "healthier" btw
You can get better nutrition per calorie from vegetables
But if you want bread the better choice is Ezekiel bread.
White bread vs whole wheat = not a significant difference in terms of nutrition either, so just go with your preference

    Don't worry about sodium

    And, low-fat? That's pretty sad...
Have your [nitrate-free] bacon and [pastured] eggs and [grass-fed] butter, man!
    lol my context...
Healthier (and tastier) than whole grains.
